No More Biopsy Blues – Update
"This is the day that the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it." - Psalms 118:24 KJV
UPDATE - Winter, 2022 - When I created this, I was 4 years cancer-free. Today, it's more like 8. I still marvel about what it took to arrive at this point. While living through a declared pandemic that won't go away, being a Breast Cancer Conqueror fades away a little bit. Remember at the beginning, in March 2020, all of the news channels were basically declaring me dead - pre-existing conditions, of a certain age, of a certain body type. I was like - should I rearrange my insurance? However, I got over that quick. And today, eight years after I first wrote this section, I still wonder why breast cancer - no, all cancers - have become so prevalent over the last 20 - 30 years. My first thought is environmental - car emissions, manufacturers lying about how pollution-free their vehicles are, factories sending out unregulated toxins in the air and/or water. Take your pick. Everything that we know that aggravates the condition, is still on the market. They aren't being removed from circulation, nor is additional information being provided as to its danger; at least no more than we already have been told or have been able to ascertain. When you have time, look at the chemicals that European countries ban from food and environments, versus what the American government allows. It's ridiculous, and it's killing us. "Why? We all know why, whether we admit it or not - CORPORATE GREED. It's so entrenched at this point, they really don't care if you live or die." This is in quotes because since we've been dealing with the Coronavirus, it's been proven to be true. There's a large segment of the population [in fact, the MAJORITY, but that's another topic!] that I happen to belong to who is being killed off in various methods and it didn't just begin in 2020. And yet, we keep coming, we keep fighting, and we keep winning battles. In spite of a whole lot of things. So we keep going. It's still true - big data has calculated how much you'll spend during your lifetime. And the insurance actuarial tables have been calculating your life for a very long time. At the point where you realize you've been screwed, it's almost too late. BUT - it's never too late to change. That's what this forum is about - making changes to a healthier lifestyle, based on verifiable information. What you need to be here is an open mind and the ability to intelligently analyze the info we provide and what you might get elsewhere. All doctors worth their salt will tell you that making substantive changes in your lifestyle today will lead to better health, better brain function, and overall improved well-being. Note - I am NOT a doctor, nor do I plan on becoming one. However, when I see something that's rational, by a medical professional or group of same, I will bring it to your attention. Those who join me here have the right to investigate for themselves, tell me I was totally wrong, or totally right, as the case may be. It is welcome, and that's the purpose of this forum. In the meantime - I continue to seek knowledge to help you and me navigate this journey of life healthier and more productively. God Bless.
